Sitting in the corner of my tiny room
Praying and wishing things can be left the way they were
I looked forward to the past
Yes, forward to the past,
Waiting patiently for the manifestations of the past
When I was actually supposed to be looking into the future.
“The military regime is what we need again
No, I think the colonial government administration is so befitting right now”
All these thoughts running through my head
Just because I was tired of praying for HER.
Now she is 59 years and,
I thought aging enhances growth…
I think this is the time we have to stop wishing that things are like that of the past. Because we do not even know if the so called good system of the past is going to work for this present days. Things have changed, things are changing, and things will change. Change is constant.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
We are not supposed to get tired of interceding for Nigeria. Most especially at this time that our leaders do not have a bearing. We are going to stand firm and hold on to that belief that says “there is always a light at the end of every tunnel”
I AM THE CHANGE SHE NEEDS
WE ARE THE FUTURE OF NIGERIA!!!
